lately, the most unfortunate events have to happen on my soup. both times, my soup turned non vegetarian. :(
1st incident was last friday, i found a worm in my soup. yucks!! the first thing i said: wa lau, my soup isnt vegetarian anymore.
next was last sat, i was happily savouring my soup at home when ace suddenly took my wallet and did a slam dunk into my soup, like how we dunk our oreos into our milk. i was very very angry and scolded ace: wah lau, ace!! ah yee still want to drink my soup one leh. and so the soup turned non vegen as well cos mine is a leather wallet.
so what did i do on both occasions?? well, i continue to drink my soup anyway. haha... as the hokkien saying goes: la sup jiat, la sup dua!! haha...

where to take me for dinners...
Have set up a new blog on what I lurve to do best... EAT!!
http://vegetarianmakan.blogspot.com
Keke... Yes, this blog is dedicated to all fellow vegetarian friends out there or if you like vegetarian food... It is a compilation of the places I’ve been to, and my humble opinion of the place, filled with the pictures of the food... :)
Actually I have been wanting to do this blog a looooong time ago and this blog was set up waaaaaay back last year. But I just didn't have the time to start posting. It takes commitment to blog and to make an effort to remember the dishes you ate and take pictures of the food. Till lately, I was browsing through the pictures in my computer and I saw the pictures of the food that I had taken and finally yesterday, one of the rare days that I was home early, did I really sit down and started blogging.
This being said, I will do my utmost best to make sure that the blog is filled with interesting updates (which means I have to go around eating and try new food!! Keke). So if you dine with me next time and see me taking out my camera snapping away, please do not be alarmed. Haha.
**
Went Kinokuniya yesterday and bought a book written by Chuck Spezzano, as well as a deck of Love Cards for sis and we spend the night reading cards. The thing about love cards is that it is damn Zhun. Everytime I 抽卡, be it online or the physical card, it always hit right to the root of my problem. Sis asks me to get one set of cards for myself, as a gift from her. :D so I think I will be heading down to Kinokuniya again.
**
Took mrt home yesterday and I ws surprised to find that they have red seats now!! This shows that I haven been taking the train for a long long time. Hiacks.
**
I received flowers on Sunday!! 5 stalks of red roses. Pretty!! :)

Phantom of the Opera
went to watch Phantom last sat and if there's only one word to describe it, its simply awesome!! worth every single of my 160 bucks. :) im especially impressed by the backdrops... how they made it looked like the stage was really filled with water and when Raoul dived into the "lake", he really disappeared into the stage... we were seated in the last seat of circle one, but our seats were quite centered so we got quite a good view, though the distance is a bit far. i should have booked the seats earlier.

phantom has been my fav musical since more than a decade ago and im glad i caught it. i even read the Phantom of the Opera novel and i can sing 95% of the songs by heart. keke. almost didnt want to watch it till EQ said: i dont want to wait for another 10 years for the musical to come to town again lor. yeah, the last time Phantom was in town was in 1995 and at that time although i really really wanted to go watch it, i didnt have the finances as i was still a poor sec 3 student.
will definately go watch it again if it comes to singapore again. but i would really watch it at other countries so that i can catch the different casts in action. was telling net, when we go france, we must go to the london opera house!! keke.

the only pity is that i will never get the chance to catch the original casts, Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. i still think michael crawford's voice and singing is the most solid. maybe its because i hear his singing over the soundtrack, which is definately different from live singing. but i actually cried from listening to his soundtrack alone. thats how powerful he is.
now i cant stop humming the songs from the musical.

the phantom of the opera is there... inside my head...

Bangkok
My holiday is confirmed!! Our air tickets and accommodation has been booked. I am sooooo excited. Cant wait for august to come!!

the tallest hotel in bangkok...
We will be staying at baiyoke tower, the tallest hotel in bangkok. Went to the hotel’s webby last night and I like what I saw. Best of all, the hotel’s restaurant serves vegetarian food and have a fruits buffet!! The location is quite centralised as well.

yummy buffet!!
I really wished May, June and July will pass quickly. We even have a few must try vegetarian restaurants on our list. Must stop my shopping so I can go for the kill when im there. Afterall, I am told my air tickets, hotel and food will be sponsored. I only need to pay for my own shopping. I seriously think 3D 2N is not enough!!

the hotel's bar...
I am so blessed and loved and happy happy happy!! :)

goog things must wait
I feel so tall today because I am in a pair of 4 inches heels!! Haha. But despite wearing 4in heels, I am still half a head shorter than net. Yeah, he is so tall and I am so short.
Anyway, I lurve this pair of heels cos they only cost $9.90!! Bought the shoes at Mondo, and for regular Mondo customers, you will know that they this regular sales section where the shoes will go at $9.90 per pair and $15 for 2. And being the shopping queens that we are, mondo is one of the shops we often patronise for cheap and nice shoes. :)
So about 2 weeks ago, when we were having our regular shopping sessions at Mondo, I saw this pretty pair of heels. But too bad, its not on sale. So I told them that I will wait for the heels to be “downgraded” to the sales section.
Yesterday we went Mondo again and I saw the pair of heels at the promo section, but its at the $19.90 per pair shelf. So I told LZ, since now it has been downgraded to the $19.90 corner, if I wait long enough, it will go to the $9.90 section. LZ told me that there is another Mondo shop at the basement, so we decided to go there to take a look as well. And the moment I stepped in, I saw that pair of heels at the $9.90 section!!!
HAPPINESS!!
Wanted to get another pair so that I can buy 2 at $15 but sadly, the heels that I liked doesn't have my size. Nevertheless, im still sooooo happy with my purchase!! $9.90 only!! Keke.
So... Morale of story: good things are worth the wait. Must persevere and they will come to you!!
**
My feet/thigh/calfs are aching. Its not easy to walk in a 4in high heels, not to mention walking in ultra high speed cos we were late for office. But I will still continue to wear my beloved high heels cos I am known for 要没不要命(ai swee mai mia!!). Keke.
**
Just came back from isetan sales... Got nice triumph undies at 3 for $9 and a pretty cardi at $19.90.
The pros of working in town: you get to go to the latest sales
The cons: very xiong for the wallet.
